2011年12月17日至19日，我校副校长、证据科学研究院院长张保生教授应邀出席了在台北举行的亚洲犯罪学会第三届年会。本届会议的主题是：亚洲犯罪学与刑事司法的革新。张保生教授及其博士研究生郑飞联合为会议提交了《中国司法改革中的刑事证据制度重建》的英文论文。张保生教授应邀在大会上发表英文演讲并回答了与会学者的提问。演讲分为三个部分：一、中国司法改革的两个不同路径；二、两个新刑事证据规定的意义及其存在的问题；三、中国刑事证据制度的重建。来自中国、印度、韩国、日本、澳大利亚、美国、英国、加拿大以及中国港澳台地区的学者共三百多人出席了本次会议。

Vice President of Our University Zhang Baosheng Was Invited to Attend the 3rd Annual Conference of Asian Criminological Society

December 17-19, 2011, Zhang Baosheng, Vice President of our University and Director of Key Laboratory of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, was invited by President of Asian Criminological Society Liu Jianhong to attend the 3rd Annual Conference of Asian Criminological Society, which was held in Taipei Regent Hotel. Professor Zhang Baosheng and his doctor student Zheng Fei submitted the English paper Reforming the Criminal Evidence System in China to the Conference, and were invited to give an English speech in the conference. The speech of Professor Zhang Baosheng had three parts: the first one is the two paths for achieving Judicial Reform in China; the second is new developments in the Criminal Evidence System; the third is why and how to reconstruct the Criminal Evidence System. In the speech, Professor Zhang Baosheng reviewed the progress of Chinese Judicial Reform, and analyzed the problem of Judicial Unfairness and corruption and some cases in current China. At last, he proposed that in order to achieve the goal of establishing a socialist judicial system with fairness, efficiency and authority, we should reconstruct the Chinese Evidence System. At the same time, Professor Zhang Baosheng also answered some questions of the scholar in the conference.

Asian Criminological Society was found in Macao, China in 2009 by some Asian Criminological scholars and practitioners, and its mission is to promote the study of Criminology and Criminal Justice across Asia. This conference hosted by the Graduate School of Criminology of National Taipei University is the 3rd Annual Conference of Asian Criminological Society, and its theme is “Asian Innovations in Criminology and Criminal Justice”. There were more than three hundred Criminological scholars who come from China, India, The South of Korea, Japan, Austria, America, UK, Canada, Taiwan of China, Hong Kong of China and Macao of China joined in the discussion and exchanged the views.
